The best resolution at a given wavelength
Choosing the best focus when it is necessary to switch between cameras or gratings
Software which controls the operation and so makes it easy for the operator to switch it on or off as necessary
Avoids the necessity for repeated meticulous camera positioning at the exit point
TruResTM
The TruRes feature of the Kymera 328i is a multimodal spectroscope, and offers the option of enhancing the true resolution of the spectrum:
Over 30% more spectral resolution without having to switch from one grating or slit width to another
A greater breadth of spectral resolutions is now easily available by simply touching a button on the same setup
Complex features of the spectrum are now more easily distinguished from UV to SWIR
Prevents the need for the use of mathematical operations to deconvolute a spectrum
Quad Turret with RFID
The Kymera 328i has a Quad Turret feature which lets you use your system for a wider range of applications.
With this feature you can use up to four gratings at the same time to use a single setup for a variety of applications:
Spectral resolution can be fixed to high, medium or low using the available options
Blaze can be used for options ranging from UV, Visible, and NIR to SWIR
Mirror is built in for microspectroscopy
eXpressIDTM is a software which uses RFID to make the tool intelligent by making sure that all salient turret parameters are automatically recognized and uploaded to the spectrograph in timely fashion
Dual Input and Output Options
The dual input/output option built into the Kymera 328i allows different experiments to interface with ease and simplicity, without having to change the setup very often and thus saving time.
The setup enables a dual port configuration using combinations of the following:
CCD cameras which can be used for spectroscopy with UV, Vis and NIR
ICCD cameras which can yield UV to NIR measurements with time resolution
A tunable monochromator light source with exit slits
The use of exit port fiber coupling so that light output can be sent to another part of the setup if necessary
