Multi-Lab is one of the leading High Purity Natural and Synthetic Quartz Glass distributors in Europe. Multi-Labhas always been a defining force in the sale and fabrication of quartz glass within the Semi-Conductor, Fibre Optic and Lighting industries.The facility was formerly owned by Heraeus quartz glass. East Kilbride is a modern state of the art quartz fabrication facility, designed and set up for volume manufacturing of quartz glass and ceramic products.The large lathe department has 8 lathe stations capable of fabricating tubes up to 450mm; this is complimented with 12 bench work stations. All hot work is performed using quartz burners.A fully integrated CNC machine workshop including ultra sonic equipment provides the capabilities to machine product to very tight tolerances.The CMM machines within our final inspection area allow product to be measured to 5 decimal places. The facility also has a large quartz cleaning area and additional class 1000 clean room allowing “ship to line” on specific products.Multi-LabEast Kilbride also builds and supplies thermocouples for the semiconductor industry. We provide a fully integrated service including new, new for old and full recalibration services.The Multi-LabEast Kilbride factory produces high quality fabricated quartz and ceramic components for industries including Semiconductor, Solar, MOCVD, Optical fiber and Defence.
