The company had a humble beginning in early 1988. it was a brain child of Dr Appayya who had a vision to get into a path that was not well explored during those days in India. He bought together all the resources along with the family under the guidance of his beloved father Mr. M.P .Rao who himself was a ceramic engineering graduate from Banaras Hindu university (1944).

MPR Refractories has come all the way since its inception wherein now the company is well known name in Refractories Business not just in india but globally. The core value have been integrity & customer centricity. The company has its Registered office in Heart of the City Hyderabad and a manufacturing plant with over 7 different divisions for specialized Product manufacturing in Bolaram industrial Area, Hyderabad . The company operations are not just confined to India but it has spread its roots across Asia Pacific & Middle-East through multiple Joint ventures.
