Monitoring Exposure to Gases with the Ventis LS Gas Detector

The Accenture Life Safety Solution (ALSS) is a real-time, wireless solution that can continuously monitor a worker’s exposure to gases as well as their location within a plant environment. It works by using the Ventis LS multi-gas detector and iNet^® solution.

The Ventis LS gas detector is at the core of this solution, offering the following features:

Detects between one and four gases including O₂, LEL, H₂S, SO₂, CO and NO₂

Able to transmit gas level and alarm information over a Wi-Fi network

Able to send an alert to the control room if the worker activates the instrument's panic button, or even if lack of movement is detected

Enables a worker's location to be pinpointed in real time via a central control console

Works on iNet^® - Industrial Scientific's Gas Detection as a Service solution
