MODISON was founded as a trading unit in 1965, by Mr. G.L. Modi, to deal in tool steels and export of engineering and general merchandise.

MODISON now offers a complete range of silver cadmium oxide contacts in diverse forms, which are manufactured by internal oxidation as well as powder metallurgy to meet customer’s specific requirement. These contact materials have high resistance to contact welding and arc erosion with low contact resistance. MODISON manufactures electrical contacts for low, medium and high voltage switchgear industries.

Today, MODISON Group has plants at two locations in Western India at Vapi and Silvassa, employing more than 350 people. The company has state-of-the-art Electron Beam Welding machines, VIM furnaces, CNC Machining Centers and Ag plating plant all under one roof. This helps in faster development and supply of economical and quality products to customers across the globe.
