MMI is is not only specialized in hardware related software development, image analysis and optical and mechanical development.

MMI systems for ultra precise preparation of biological samples from tissue, cell cultures or cell suspensions have been established on the world market for years. Life and material science related target markets for MMI technologies are mainly molcular pathology, drug discovery, medical diagnostics, food and environmental analytics.

MMI was founded in 1998 by Prof. Dr. Stefan Seeger from University of Zurich, Switzerland. Today the company is located in Zurich/Switzerland, Munich/Germany and Haslett/USA.

MMI is privately held. Hannover Finance, one of the biggest European Investment Groups, is MMI’s financing partner.
