Microimage Video Systems

World Video Sales Company, Inc., the parent of MicroImage Video Systems, was formed in 1970 as a manufacturer of color video monitors for the broadcast television industry. MicroImage Video Systems, the subsidiary, was formed in the early nineteen eighties to develop equipment for the scientific industry. We now have a line of primary and peripheral equipment designed for this purpose.

MicroImage Video Systems was one of the first manufacturers to offer a camera specifically designed and calibrated to be used on microscopes. Our primary camera product line is for bio-medical and industrial use while another line of camera systems has been developed for surgical applications. Although the camera systems are designed for scientific purposes, our peripheral products can be used in a variety of other applications. Our plant has been UL approved to produce our UL544 rated (Medical) products.

We manufacture a number of color camera systems with RGB, S-Video, composite and B&W outputs. MicroImage Video Systems has developed it's own proprietary, microprocessor controlled auto exposure system which yields very smooth exposure changes (CA and SA series). Camera and video product systems are marketed nationwide by a network of scientific instrument dealers.
