Microfabrica

Microfabrica performs contract manufacturing using its breakthrough MICA Freeform process enabling the development of micro-scale Ultra-High Precision Parts, SubAssemblies and 3D MicroMachines which help create many new applications in a variety of industries including medical device, semiconductor test and aerospace. The MICA Freeform process can fabricate parts with more precision than traditional micro-machining and more robustness than standard MEMS technologies. MICA Freeform brings together aspects of stereolithography and electrochemical deposition to produce robust micro metal parts, which employs batch/wafer-based manufacturing principles, enabling high-volume manufacturing. Microfabrica offers 3 materials: Valloy-120 (similar properties as stainless steel), palladium (for fully implantable and MRI compatible applications) and rhodium (for high wear resistant and electrical contact surfaces).
