Megladon Manufacturing Group, Ltd.

Megladon Manufacturing Group, Ltd. was created as a subsidiary of Tyrex Group, Ltd. STG 4Fronts, a technology incubator specializing in optical research and development was created as a subsidiary of Megladon. With knowledge from and relationships within the scientific community, this entity was created to provide Megladon and the Fiber Products Group with intellectual property in the fiber optic arena. Their product Hardened Lens Contact (HLC) for fiber optic patch cables and the technology was patented and transferred to the Fiber Products Group for application engineering, creation of manufacturing processes and marketing. The result was a core technology with far-reaching effects in the fiber optic industry.
