Mecline Multiple Diameter Laser Micrometer from Scantron

The Mecline is a multiple diameter laser micrometer system, specifically designed to check parts machined on N.C. lathes or to be used in automatic inspection equipment, where robot handling devices move the component to selected gauging positions. The diameter measurements can be triggered by external command in automated systems and the diameter measurements transmitted to the NC or PLC. There is the facility for tolerance checking and alarm outputs to sort out of tolerance components. The Mecline has the option for close loop control by interfacing directly with the N.C. controller to adjust the off-set.
