MEAglow (migration enhanced afterglow) is a film growth technique that has arisen as a result of recent advances in the migration enhanced epitaxy of group III metal nitride films. Meaglow has taken advantage of this recent advancement by applying them in a CVD environment, utilizing a scalable ammonia free proprietary nitrogen plasma source that largely eliminates the oxygen contamination problem that has plagued such sources when used in CVD environments.
