Materials Testing Software – Digital Image Correlation Software

Digital Image Correlation (DIC) is an optical method that compares images of a tested specimen’s surface to yield complete field strain and displacement maps. It develops pictures that can be utilized to visualize strain and displacement across the full two dimensional (2D) surface of the test specimen.

The DIC Replay Software is a self-contained 2D DIC package. The software consumes images and calibration data saved by the Instron^® Advanced Video Extensometer (AVE) and operates in a post-processing mode. The user interface leverages the same graphical design and tabbed style of Bluehill^®.
