Matec's NDT product line is extremely diverse and includes systems for the measurement of ultrasonic velocity and absorption, defect detection, and imaging. Matec has taken its reputation as a leader in high power ultrasonic research systems and applied it to turnkey inspection systems that can be integrated into production lines. Thickness gauging, weld inspection and defect detection are but a few of the on-line applications.

Matec has developed a full line of computer controlled ultrasonic C-Scan imaging systems, configured as squirter based gantry-scanners and immersion tanks of various sizes configuration, as many as 17 axes of motion and control.

Custom systems are Matec's specialty, designing them to a customer's specification to meet their inspection needs.
