Established in 1989 and based in New York, LTS has recently emerged as a strong leader in the field of high-purity optical coating materials, electronic chemicals, and performance chemicals fabrication. Beginning with the production of high laser damage threshold oxides, LTS has expanded its range of products to include fluorides, selenides, sulfides, tellurides, raw materials for crystal growth, and performance chemicals for the opto-electronics industry.

LTS is becoming recognized worldwide for its ultra-high purity materials created through DFM, a novel production method for fluorides that allows it to surpass material quality achieved by conventional means. The company has also designed new transmission enhancing oxide compounds through liquid phase formulation (LPF).
