The LTP-250 Micro-Press™, from Lambient Technologies, is a compact pneumatic press. The system is designed for general use in applying pressure and heat to materials.
The LTP-250 Micro-Press™ can be used with or without a dual temperature controller. With the Lambient Technologies dual temperature controller, separate temperature control of each platen can be achieved.
The heating temperature ranges from ambient to 350ºC or 660ºF, and the highest applied force is 680 Kg (1500 lb). Platen area measures 75 mm x 75 mm (3.0” x 3.0”).
The LTP-250B Micro-Press™ can also be used to cure BMC, SMC, polyurethanes, polystyrenes, polyesters, epoxies, laminates, silicones, and other similar polymeric materials.
It can be manually controlled using the Lambient Technologies™ CureView™ software, and offers a portable and easily operated platform to recreate the time-pressure-temperature processing profiles of a large number of polymers.
The LTP-250B Micro-Press™, when combined with the Lambient Technologies™ dielectric sensors, functions as a complete testing station for dielectric cure analyses.
