The back-illuminated rolling shutter Sony® Starvis™ CMOS sensor in the Teledyne Lumenera Lt-C1900 camera offers high sensitivity. This facilitates imaging in settings with variable or uncontrolled lighting.
The Lt-C1900 camera captures images in low light conditions without losing crucial data instead of relying on additional lighting to ensure that images can be appropriately captured. This camera has a compact form factor for imaging systems with limited space.
Teledyne Lumenera Lt-C1900 Camera Highlights
Locking industrial micro-USB on the side for power and control
Region of Interest (ROI) option to provide higher frame rates
Selectable eight or 12-bit pixel data
Multiple data rates are supported, each optimized for the lowest noise performance.
Color Sony Starvis IMX327 rolling shutter CMOS sensor with 1/2.8” optical format
2.1-megapixel camera with fast frame rates of 60 fps at full resolution (1944×1096)
High-Speed USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface for fast image delivery and simplified connectivity
Compact form factor measuring 45 mm×45 mm×36.1 mm
About Sony Starvis Rolling Shutter CMOS Camera Technology
Sony Starvis rolling shutter CMOS sensors provide high-sensitivity imaging performance. Sony’s back-illuminated sensor technology allows excellent color reproduction, a wide dynamic range, and little noise.
A more significant amount of light can reach the sensor by applying the photosensitive surface on top of the metal wiring as opposed to the conventional layout, where light is blocked around the photodiode. The camera is more sensitive since more light is available when imaging with this kind of system.
