Lt-C/M3840: To Retain Image Data Outdoors
Highlights and shadows can be tough to image in outdoor conditions due to differences in lighting and can end up causing vital image data to be lost. A high dynamic range is essential for ensuring image clarity in such settings.
With its large dynamic range, the Lt-C/M3840 camera retains image data without sacrificing image quality. As a result, it is perfect for toll management, HOT lane enforcement, speed and red light enforcement, and parking validation access control.

About Sony Starvis Rolling Shutter CMOS Camera Technology
Sony Starvis CMOS sensors with rolling shutters enable high-sensitivity imaging capability. Sony’s backlit sensor technology achieves excellent color reproduction, dynamic range, and low noise.
A greater amount of light can reach the sensor by applying the photosensitive surface on top of the metal wiring rather than the standard layout where light is blocked around the photodiode. This system improves camera sensitivity by providing a higher light level when imaging.
