Simple Set-Up and Adjustment
Old Minus CM-1 Compact High Capacity Vibration Isolator video
CM-1 pedestals can be made to bring them the isolators to an appropriate height to retrofit your existing air table. Contact us for a quote.

Performance
Vertical natural frequency of 1/2 Hz or less can be achieved over the entire load range.
Horizontal natural frequency is load dependent. 1/2 Hz or less can be achieved at or near the nominal load.
CM-1 Low Frequency Vibration Isolator
The CM-1 is a Low frequency vibration device that can withstand weights of up to 1050 lbs and a minimum of 50 lbs, as well as being compatible with 1/2 Hz frequencies in both vertical and horizontal directions.
This new device uses negative-stiffness passive isolating technology, takes up little room and works at high capacity. The CM-1 devices are fully passive and do not require electricity or air, this is a feature they share with our other series, the Minus K isolators. And also like this series, the CM-1 devices can be used simultaneously with each other in a multiple isolator network, which allows even heavier to be supported, at the same time only taking up a minimal amount of space.
The CM-1 devices are suitable to be put on pedestals to allow them to be moved to a desired height and be added to any air table you may already have. This means that your new CM-1 can enhance your current set up and all you to reach even better isolation, rather than replacing your current equipment.
The CM-1 devices have several capacity options to choose from to meet the needs of your vibration-sensitive instruments, for example interferometers, profilers, micro-hardness testers, SPMs (AFMS, STMs, etc), and electron microscopes.
If required, the CM-1 devices can be made custom to attain user specific requirements, such as varying vertical and horizontal frequencies and damping. We are also able to make the devices compatible in cleanroom and vacuum environments.
See the next section for an example of a standard transmissibility cure for the CM-1.
