Long Hole Drilling Rig Simba M3 C from Atlas Copco

Simba M3 C from Atlas Copco is a long hole drill rig that is capable of drilling small to medium size drifts in the 51 – 89 mm range. The rig can ring drill parallel holes upward and downward up to 1.5 m apart. It has a high-performance top hammer rock drill and a rig control system offering a sustainable high-accuracy solution for long-hole drilling.

It is equipped with a COP 1838ME 18 kW rock drill for high availability and productivity, or COP 3060MUX 30 kW rock drill to ensure a large hole range and tough rock conditions.

Is equipped with a rod carousel for 17+1 rods for mechanized drilling up to 32 m or 27+1 rods for mechanized drilling up to 51 m.

A reliable computerized Rig Control System (RCS) controls the Simba M3C and ensures accuracy, productivity and also ergonomic relief for the operator.
