Litesizer DIA 500: Next-Generation Dynamic Image Analysis System

The Litesizer DIA 500 dynamic image analyzer reliably and easily characterizes the size and shape of particles by analyzing their direct images. Users can quickly switch between three modules in just a single step, using either dispersion liquid, compressed air, or free-fall as required.

Automated features allow the instrument to be used with minimum training, including the automatic adjustment of feeding rate and the rinsing of liquids.

The Litesizer DIA 500 enables particle analysis at the touch of a button.

Key Features

Particle Size and Shape in a Single Measurement

Litesizer DIA 500: Advanced Dynamic Image Analysis System

The Litesizer DIA 500 can measure the size and shape of samples with a wide particle size range: 0.8 µm to 8000 µm.

The instrument can even detect and analyze single outlier particles within populations counted in millions.

Users can benefit from a market-leading liquid dispersion range of up to 2500 µm.

Conventional sieve analysis can be replaced with fully compatible, safe and fast dynamic image analysis.

Users can gain an improved understanding of how particles’ size and shape impact their processes.

Optimize Measures with the Kalliope Software

Measurement can be started in just three clicks.

Kalliope's one-page workflow allows users to analyze size, shape, and image in one digital space.

It is possible to locate particles with a specific size and shape in just a few clicks, thanks to Kalliope’s powerful filtering features.

Users can operate all their Anton Paar particle-sizing instruments from within Kalliope.

Prioritizing Operator Safety

Operator safety is Anton Paar’s priority.

User safety is assured by a safety cover that stops the spread of hazardous samples.

Users can be confident that their dynamic image analyzer cannot overheat. The instrument confirms that enough liquid is in the system before sonication switches.

Users can be sure that dangerous samples remain contained due to an automatic suction check.

The Litesizer DIA 500 complies with relevant safety standards, including EN 61010:2010, ISO 12100:2011.

The instrument is protected against an ingress of water and particles.

One Dynamic Image Analyzer, Three Dispersion Units

Litesizer DIA 500: Advanced Dynamic Image Analysis System

Measurement of a range of samples is simple thanks to the instrument’s three dispersion units: Dry Jet (compressed air), Liquid Flow (dispersion liquid), and Free Fall (gravitational fall).

Users can switch between dispersion units in a single move with the innovative Quick-Click feature. There is no need to adjust cables, tubes, and pipes between measurements.

Save Time with Automated Features

Users do not need to worry about setting the optimal sample feeding rate - the Litesizer DIA 500 completed this process automatically.

The filling, draining, and rinsing of the dispersion liquid are fully automated, meaning users can focus on more important tasks.

Auto-filtering particles of interest can optimize data inflow. This maximizes data quality and speeds up analysis.
