Liquid Crystal on Silicon-Spatial Light Modulator for Optical Phase Modulation
The LCOS-SLM is a reflection type spatial light modulator that can freely modulate the light phase as required. The LCOS-SLM phase-modulates the incoming light beam and reflects it so that the wavefront of the reflected light can be freely controlled as required.
The capability to control the light wavefront accurately makes LCOS-SLM suitable for applications including aberration correction and optical beam pattern forming.
The LCOS-SLM is a suitable component for a broad range of applications, including laser marking, optical tweezers employing optical manipulation techniques, laser processing, femtosecond laser pulse shaping, fundus imaging by corrective optics, and much more.
