LioniX is a leading provider in development and small to high volume production of leveraging and innovative products based on microsystem technology and MEMS. Our core technologies are integrated optics and microfluidics.

Our customers operate in telecom, industrial process control, life sciences and space markets and include OEM's, multinationals, VC start-up companies as well as research institutions from around the world.

LioniX offers design for manufacturing and horizontal integration by partnering with MEMS/MST foundries and suppliers of complementary technologies. By actively maintaining and extending its network of partners LioniX is able to offer complete solutions, and control the process of development into production as well as the manufacturing of the final product.

LioniX works customer-specified and aims for an open and sustained customer-relationship. LioniX strives for an early involvement and a leading role in the trajectory from concept development to production during the life cycle of the micro product, so customers can benefit optimal from Lionix' many years MEMS-MST experience. Customer co-operations are based upon subcontracting, licensing of IPR and joint ventures.

LioniX has a team of first class MEMS-MST engineers and designers who have in-depth knowledge and years of hands-on experience in MEMS/MST fabrication technologies in general and the application fields integrated optics and microfluidics in particular. LioniX' team is creative and innovative, and continuously contributing to moving forward the front-lines of technology.

LioniX has an IPR agreement on technology with the world-renowned MESA+ Institute and is rapidly building up a firm IPR position in its core competences integrated optics and microfluidics. LioniX works closely together with researchers from the MESA+ Institute, and guarantees the application of leading-edge technologies.

The combination of microfluidics and integrated optics gives LioniX an unrivalled expertise in the emerging area of Lab-on-a-Chip, while the combination of integrated optics with the micromechanics expertise assures us a strong position in the area of MOEMS (Micro-Electro-Optical Mechanical Systems).
