This is Jeremy Lerner, the founder and President of LightForm, Inc., bringing you my annual year-end "PARISS spectral imaging" review for 2006.

It is really a pleasure to look back on last year. LightForm enjoyed one of its most successful years ever: good sales, two journal covers in the same month, and we are still a fully independent company after 10 years.

PARISS continues to accumulate more and more researcher publications covering applications as varied as FRET, ion transport through membranes, to cancer characterization. This review, shows some breakthrough papers that highlights the history of PARISS over the last eight years.

It is comforting to know that PARISS continues to be a reliable workhorse generating "cover quality" hyperspectral images for researchers in diverse scientific fields.
