Laserod Inc.

Our company is dedicated to providing exceptional service to a variety of industries including micro-electronics, aerospace, medical, solar cell, transducer sensor and others. We offer both services (laser job shop) and products (custom laser machines) and have experience in excimer, CO2 lasers and YAG lasers, our specialty.

Laserod was formed in 1996 by Rod Waters, a laser expert and 30 year veteran of the laser industry. Prior to Laserod, Rod co-founded with Floyd Pothoven, Florod Corporation---a laser equipment supplier. In its 22 years, Florod produced nearly a thousand laser machines.

Many of Florod's employees still work for us. Terry Pothoven, Floyd's son, is one of Laserod's technical experts. He is our Shop Manager and has over a quarter century laser experience. Floyd's other son, David, runs production.
