Ladd Research

Ladd Research began in 1955 with the goal of supplying the needs of researchers using electron microscopes. Over the years we have expanded our product line to include supplies and accessories for light microscopy, AFM's, confocal microscopy and the more advanced electron microscopes.

Ladd has recently taken the concept of the electron microscope aperture and developed orifices for the control of the thrusters in communications satellites which use xenon ion propulsion engines. This has led to aperture/microhole development for a wide variety of applications.
