Lab ACOMP is a critical R&D tool for developing and monitoring the synthesis of new polymer products, improving scale-up efforts, and optimizing existing processes at the bench and pilot plant scales. The smart system continually examines polymers throughout reactions, providing real-time information on polymer characteristics, reaction kinetics, and process anomalies. It also speeds up the development of next-generation smart materials, enabling new, sustainable uses and the circular economy.
Lab ACOMP can evaluate intrinsic or decreased viscosity at specific shear rates, as well as molecular weight, monomer consumption, and polymer composition, all while recording polymer formation. The system can be built to work with numerous reaction systems and integrate with a GPC system. Yokogawa Fluence Analytics also provides custom reactors and control systems to complement the system, which fits under a standard laboratory hood.
