The new Kellenberger® 1000 grinding system from Hardinge features systematically improved, established elements while integrating newly developed components, like the synchronous tailstock and automatic cylinder correction system. Features
With the new Kellenberger 1000, Kellenberger has been making success a continuous story. The new Kellenberger 1000 integrates functional design and high-precision technology. Hydrostatic guides ensure maximum dimensional accuracy in grinding tasks with interpolating axes.
High positioning accuracies and speeds are ensured by direct drives for the rotary axes. Generous X and Z axes strokes together with the platform concept for grinding head positions and dressing systems assure flexibility and enable application-specific configurations.
The established integral transportation concept (hook machine) has been retained and decreases machine commissioning times while ensuring a small installation area. Energy-efficient concepts and durable hydrostatic guides ensure a highly secure capital investment.
