Intrepid Coatings

The name Intrepid has military and aerospace association. Because the majority of our coatings are aerospace, military & government specs, we wanted a name that had ties to the industry in which we serve. A World War II aircraft carrier was named USS Intrepid.

There is also a well-known museum in New York named Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Not only does the name have association within our industry but “Intrepid” is characterized by resolute fearlessness, fortitude and endurance.

It describes an action that is bold and brave. By definition, Intrepid means to be fearless, undaunted, unflinching, audacious, dynamic, spirited, bold and heroic. We want to be intrepid in our faith as we seek to serve not only our Lord but our community and our industry.
