The onboard computer interrogates each "smart" detector for units, calibration and range information, automatically displaying a calibrated reading in the correct optical units.

The operating buttons are simple and straight forward, with all essential functions under microprocessor control. In addition to being user-friendly, the IL1400 provides performance specifications unmatched by any other handheld radiometer on the market.

The IL1400 comes in two versions: the IL1400A with standard LCD and the IL1400BL with a backlit display.
