The Insitec range is designed to overcome the rigors of the process environment. Insitec dry particle size analyzers make use of laser diffraction technology for measuring particles in the size range of 0.1 to 2500 µm. Insitec Dry can be configured to suit practically every dry particulate process, delivering real-time monitoring and control 24/7, with options for dust zoned hazardous environments, gas or dust zoned hazardous environments, mobile applications and abrasive materials.
Insitec Dry online particle size analyzers offer completely automated real-time - or manual at-line - size measurement of particulates, in continuous and batch processes having pneumatic or gravity-fed streams. They are used to monitor and control processes ranging from abrasive bulk powders to foods, fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals with strict hygiene standards and subject to stringent regulatory control. In order to ensure representative sampling, process interfaces are tailored to meet custom needs whether pilot scale or hundreds of tonnes per hour.
Key Features
The key features of the Insitec Dry system are:
Base model hardware manufactured to GAMP5 standards and compatible with CIP/SIP requirements to meet specific manufacturing specifications
Easy to use software and fully automated operation to minimize training requirements and release operator time
Integration with existing control platforms to simplify development of automated control protocols
High reliability of more than 95% with little downtime, minimal maintenance and maximum ROI
Customer Testimonial
Achieving fully automated, closed loop control of the grinding circuit has been enormously beneficial. We can switch between different product grades around three to nine times faster than when we only had offline Blaine measurements for plant control. This has had a major impact on plant throughput but it’s perhaps with slag cements that we see the biggest benefit. Here we have found the Insitec essential for the production of high quality products. The Insitec systems are a trusted and integral part of our plant. This is especially true when it comes to the optimal inclusion of slag. Our view is that real-time data are invaluable when it comes to producing slag cements with comparable performance to conventional products.
