InfraCal 2 ATR-B Biofuel Analyzer from Spectro Scientific

The InfraCal 2 Analyzer from Spectro Scientific is a type of fixed-filter infrared analyzer which has no mobile components, unlike the InfraCal biodiesel blend analyzer. It is used to measure percent biodiesel in diesel measurements.

The InfraCal 2 Analyzer has been designed with additional features and sensitivity to suit applications requiring several options. Improved calibrations schemes and electronics have made the device more stable.

The touch screen display is provided with data storage including each measurement tagged with analyst, location and date/time data, multiple calibrations, and password protected device settings. The touch screen interface is simple and can be used by non-technical personnel. The device weighs less than 5lbs, and can be operated using an optional internal battery pack for almost 12 hours.

The InfraCal 2 Analyzer is capable of providing results in less than one minute in a laboratory, at a fuel loading rack, or from a pump at a fueling station. This device from Spectro Scientific is suitable especially in cases where a single, recurring biodiesel blend analysis is required.
