Impact Analytical

Impact Analytical's parent organization, Michigan Molecular Institute (MMI) is a not-for-profit research and educational facility founded in 1964 as the brain-child of Herbert "Ted" Doan, former CEO and Chairman of the Dow Chemical Company. The research institute was founded in Midland to promote the advancement of fundamental scientific research in the areas of chemical and polymer science. MMI is now dedicated to advanced research, development, and commercialization of polymer science and technology. Over the years a majority of MMI's funding has been generated from grants and contracts to support both fundamental and applied research. Currently the institute has approximately 45 full and part-time employees.
