High Vacuum Components for Clean Energy

Kyocera's ultra-high vacuum metalized components are used in sealed containers (chambers) to manufacture and conduct scientific experiments in a variety of settings, including vacuum, liquid, and gas. End use applications include particle accelerators, semiconductor processing equipment, and more.

These components usually have a hermetically sealed structurebetween the conductive and insulating portions. Kyocera uses Fine Ceramics for the insulating component. The vacuum component is welded to the flange and then fittedin a chamber with an O ring and a gasket to ensure hermeticity.
