In an effort to shorten the formulation time-to-market, researchers are increasingly interested in conducting high throughput screening processes, such as that which is achieved through the use of the Turbiscan AGS high-throughput stability analyzer.
The Turbiscan AGS integrates multiple modules including the Turbiscan LAB stability analyzer, a robot, a storage station and smart software that allows for autonomous sample handling and reporting processes to be achieved. Through the use of this tool, automated management of aging tests can occur from sample storage at different temperatures to shelf-life analysis.
Product Features
Automated Aging Station
Up to 54 Samples, stored in 3 independent racks at a specific temperature, are transported to the instrument through the use of an automated robotic arm. Once samples are analyzed, results are automatically reported without requiring any user intervention.
Measurement of Stability & Size
Quantitative monitoring of dispersion stability
Shelf life and long-term stability analysis
Migration velocity
Aggregation and agglomeration kinetics
Mean diameter
Dispersibility ratio
Volume fraction
End-User Stability Conditions
Stability analysis is conducted in relation to the real use and storage conditions of the formulation. All provided information represents true stability; therefore, no mechanical stress or dilution are required for analysis.
Turbiscan Stability Index (TSI) Scale
Quantifying sample stability allows Turbiscan to provides a single value that now can evaluate and rank samples with just a single number. To quickly assess and compare formulation stability, independently of occurring phenomena the Turbiscan Stability Index is used along with a guidance scale to make decision rapidly.
