Haydale is a global technologies and advanced materials group that facilitates the integration of graphene and other nano-materials into the next generation of commercial technologies and industrial materials.

Headquartered in Wales, UK but with operational sites across the globe, Haydale Graphene Inc. was established in 2003. Now with over 70 people and partners include Petronas, Saint-Gobain & Vittoria Tyres as well as many regional partners in fields ranging from Thermal Fluids, Bio-sensors, Concrete Coatings, Composites, Hydrogen Cells, Automotive Heating and Underfloor Heating.

Haydale Graphene Inc. comprises two complementary advanced material businesses, both leaders in their respective fields:

Plasma functionalisation of nano-materials for third party applications and manufacture of plasma functionalised graphene enhanced products, all primarily based in the UK.

Manufacture and sale of Silicon Carbide cutting tools and powders based in the US.

Haydale has a unique, patented HDPlas™ functionalization process that treats nano-material powders by using plasma and bleeding in the required chemistry as a gas to achieve the necessary result. This is a highly tuneable, environmentally clean means of functionalisation suitable for any application and grade of nano-material that does not require the use of acids or surfactants used by other functionalisation processes. Haydale does not manufacture graphene or boron nitride, but has characterised over 250 types of 3^rd party graphene in order to understand which ones are appropriate for different applications.

Our advanced HDPlas™functionalization process has consistently proven its capability to modify surface properties of traditionally difficult-to-treat powders.

The HDPlas™ system offers flexibility in surface chemistries, allowing for custom solutions based on the intended application. This is especially attractive in the field of thermal management, where many different polymer systems are used.
