The temperature controlled gas cell from Harrick Scientific is suitable for analyzing gases and gaseous mixtures for flow or static environments using transmission spectroscopy.
The cell is designed with a beam conforming geometry, which helps to reduce volume and increase interaction of the beam with the sample.
This cell is made from 316 stainless steel and has a 10cm pathlength.
It can operate in temperatures ranging from ambient up to 240°C. These features make it flexible for use in evolved gas analysis (EGA) in combination with thermogravimetric analysis for TGA-EGA-FTIR
The temperature controlled gas cell is fitted with a K-type thermocouple and low-voltage heaters, to provide improved performance with the Harrick temperature controller.
The Harrick's temperature controlled gas cell consists of stainless steel transmission gas cell; Viton O-rings; mounting hardware for the windows; embedded K-type thermocouple and low-voltage band heater; one port fitted with a needle valve and a second plugged port (1/8 NPT); mating hardware for the specified UV-VIS or FT-IR spectrometer; and windows (order to be placed separately).
