Applications

Graphene is an allotrope of pure carbon comprised of a single layer of atoms. It was discovered in 2004 by Geim and Novoselov of the University of Manchester, who were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2010 for their research. Due to its remarkable electronic, mechanicaland optical properties, the material has generated significant interest and investment.

Today, Graphene is used in a wide range of applications, including rechargeable batteries, energy, transparent conductive electrodes, printable electronics, biological sensors, chemical sensorsand many more.

In addition to Graphene, we also offer Graphene Oxide, an allotrope of carbon that has a 2D structure with hexagonal symmetry. Thanks to its layered pattern, the material offers high tensile strength and conductivity. Interest in Graphene Oxide increased dramatically soon after graphene was first isolated and studied.
