Astrum from APS is a Survey Rover, Base Station or Machine Control Rover. It combines an RTK GPS receiver and a data radio into one neat package. The package is ruggedly designed to stand up to the rough handling and difficult conditions expected on mining and earthmoving equipment.

The highly sensitive GPS receiver can determine position in three dimensions within one to two centimetres. It can be used for the GPS satellites alone or with GLONASS. The radio is designed to receive or transmit GPS correction signals and also transfer data. The UHF or spread spectrum design.
