Our electronic laboratory specialises in the niche business of repairing lighting ballasts.High frequency ballasts for fluorescent lighting are superior to conventional wound ballasts but are costly to replace when they fail. Many users throw them away and buy replacements. But this is not normally the most economical solution. Contrary to common belief, electronic ballasts can be repaired, at a fraction of the cost of buying replacements. As well as saving money, having ballasts repaired is kinder to the environment than discarding all that steel, copper, ferrite and silicon.
