G.A.S. Gesellschaft für analytische Sensorsysteme GmbH is a manufacturer of gas analysers made for trace detection. Based on Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS), G.A.S.’ instruments areextremely sensitive (lower ppbv-range) and deliver fast acquisition of analytical results (few seconds). Several patents protect the intellectual property of G.A.S.

G.A.S.’ product developments address civil application fields. The µIMS-ODOR is a portable handheld instrument for the on-site control of the odorant Gasodor-S-Free in natural gas while the IMS-ODOR is a stationary system that works on-line and allows a remote control of the odorant concentration.

The A-IMS allows a detection of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TIC) to monitor the Maximum Allowable Concentration (MAC) and represents another platform that has been developed in close co-operation with our customers.

G.A.S.’ analysers are unique with respect to usability and almost all of which can be accurately operated even by non-trained personnel. All G.A.S. products dispose state-of-the-art embedded systems.
