Gardasoft Vision was founded in 1999 producing LED lighting controllers for the Machine Vision industry, and is now established as a global leader in the design, manufacture and application of high performance LED control technology and high intensity LED lighting - where our innovation has resulted in the sustained growth of the business. Since its inception, Gardasoft has grown strongly through a continuous high level of re-investment in Research and Development.

With an HQ base in Cambridge, UK, and offices in New Hampshire, US, Gardasoft continues to innovate with new products and technologies to meet the ever increasing demands of lighting for Vision Systems and Image Recognition. Our LED Controller range offers precise light intensity control of illumination, as well as fast and microsecond accurate timing for strobe control and high speed applications; and our specialist, high intensity LED Lighting, leads the market for Line Scan, Web Inspection and Traffic ANPR applications.

In May 2016, Gardasoft Vision Ltd announced that it had been acquired by OPTEX CO., LTD (OPTEX) of Japan and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of OPTEX.

The Optex Group is a global solutions provider that never stops inventing to create a safe, secure, and comfortable society. The Group also has a company Optex FA Limited, serving the Factory Automation sector, and with an established business in LED lighting and lighting control systems. With Group sales of £180m (¥28bn) and a strong position in the worldwide market, it is looking to grow its business and expand its product and technology offering to its global customer base.

Being part of OPTEX will allow Gardasoft Vision Ltd to extend the applications of its ground-breaking Triniti® Technology. Both companies are looking to work together to exploit wider product and market synergies.

Fundamentally, the Gardasoft Vision company management structure remained unchanged with Hilary Briggs as MD and Peter Bhagat continuing full time with his product and technology role within the business.

Gardasoft Vision continues to trade and promote under its existing name and branding.
