Fibertech Co., Ltd first established Hyun Dae Glassfiber., Ltd in July 1990, then started the production of Glassfiber fabrics in Yangsan 1st Factory in October 1991, and eventually began the production of carbon fiber fabrics in Yangsan 2nd Factory in March 1998.

In June 1999, the company changed its name to You Chang Co., Ltd, and opened Seoul Sales Office in September 2004. The company again changed its name to Fibertech Co., Ltd in November 2007, and established J/V factory in China in October 2011 to manufacture high-performance fibers, composite materials and bullet proof vest, anti-bullet plate, ballistic panel, ballistic UD fabric, body armor, helmet, etc.
