Element Materials Technology

The testing laboratory is one of the leading providers of non-destructive materials testing in Germany. As the headquarters of vohtec Qualitätssicherung GmbH, the location has been part of the Element network since 2018 and has been re-branded to Element Aalen in October 2020. Especially customers from the automotive industry, forging and forming technology, foundries and galvanic companies rely on more than 20 years of experience and expertise.

Element Aalen offers more than 30 methods in destructive and non-destructive testing, including corrosion tests, climatic tests and computed tomography. The services of the competence center include consulting on all aspects of materials testing, customized testing solutions and damage analyses.

The Element Aalen testing laboratory is accredited by the DAkkS according to DIN EN ISO 17025:2018. The accreditation is only valid for the scope of accreditations listed in the annex D-PL-11178-01-00. The scope of our flexible accreditations is available for download below. Element Aalen is also certified according to ISO 9001:2015 (QM) and ISO 14001:2015 (UM).
