Eldat Communication Ltd. is an Israeli based company, dedicated to providing advanced communication solutions to the retail industry. Established in 1994, Eldat has developed unique capabilities in the Infra Red Communication field, based on experience in the development of Electronic Defense Systems and Integrated Circuit design (ASIC).

As a first step in providing broad technological in-store solutions, Eldat had completed the development of an Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) system in 1994. Using Infra Red technology, for its many advantages, Eldat has introduced its advanTAG* system - an integrated system of advanced Electronic Shelf Labels and wide variety of other in-store applications. Utilizing a proprietary technology and know how, enabled Eldat Communication to provide state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) solutions to the retail industry and others, with features never before made available to the retail market.
