The EIGER2 R detector integrates all the sophisticated features of HPC technology in the most advanced detector series available from DECTRIS, developed for lab applications.
Dual-energy discrimination facilitates wide-ranging background suppression and enhances signal-to-noise ratio, specifically for long exposure times and weak signals.
Excellent count rate performance allows accurate measurements of very high intensities. Users can leverage the vast dynamic range of the detector series even during extended exposures using concurrent read/write with zero dead time.
Due to the optional vacuum compatibility, absorption and scatter from windows and air can be reduced. Small pixels along with direct detection help acquire high angular and spatial resolution and offer users the advantage of fine sampling and broad coverage of reciprocal space. Users can select from three different models to match their specific requirements.
