Eddyfi was established in 2009 with the goal of pursuing and developing eddy current array (ECA) technology to its full potential.

We have massively invested in R&D and new product development and expanded from our initial beachhead markets—surface inspection in the nuclear and power generation industries—to other markets such as oil & gas, heavy industries, and aerospace. We are currently active in surface and tubing inspection of ferrous and non-ferrous materials with eddy currents and other electromagnetic techniques. Eddyfi has customers in more than 50 countries spread out over six continents. We are headquartered in the advanced NDT hub of Québec City, Canada, and have offices in Lyon, France; Houston, USA; and AbuDhabi, UAE. Eddyfi is independent, privately owned, and now employs over 100 professionals and some of the world’s most renowned ET experts in Canada, the USA, Europe, and the Middle East.

Eddyfi focuses on offering high-end and advanced eddy current and electromagnetic solutions for the inspection of critical components and assets. We develop the industry’s best performing and most reliable test instruments, acquisition and analysis software, as well as standard and—more importantly—specialized surface array and tubing probes. Our mission is to push the limits of electromagnetic testing to new heights. We feel responsible, as a new industry player, to innovate and attempt to solve a new set of industry problems. As such, our positioning and strategy revolve around innovation, expertise, and technical intimacy, as well as engineering and manufacturing flexibility, to supply fully integrated and specially made solutions that deliver superior performance to our customers. In 2014, we were recognized as being the emerging company of the year in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment by Frost & Sullivan.
