The Element Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) System offers powerful analytical capability in a small package, improving flexibility and performance while providing streamlined operation to ensure ease of use and fast results. The system is targeted at the industrial market, where application specific issues must be solved in a fast and accurate manner.
An Element Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) combined with the easy-to-use APEX™ software offers a complete EDS microanalysis solution for all levels of analysis and high throughput industrial applications.
Element Silicon Drift Detectors
Designed with a silicon nitride (Si3N4) window, the Element SDDs optimize low energy X-ray transmission for light element analysis. The detectors have advanced low-noise electronics that provide excellent throughput performance. They also provide superior resolution.
The Element SDDs have a small footprint, which provides flexibility and ensures perfect geometry and data collection conditions. The detectors include a 30 mm2 chip and come with a manual slide.
