Lloyd Instruments' LD Series testing machines offer a compelling combination of high performance, user-friendly operation, and exceptional flexibility. Specifically designed for testing applications up to 100 kN (22,480 lbf), these universal materials testing machines serve purposes ranging from routine quality control testing to automated processes and complex multi-stage testing.
Featuring an expansive working area of 452 mm (17.8 in) and crosshead travel ranging from 1070 mm (42 in) extendable to 1669 mm (65.7 in), all LD Series testing machines are equipped with a high-stiffness frame that integrates a crosshead guidance system to prevent side loading of the test sample.
Moreover, these machines incorporate interchangeable pancake load cells, ensuring precise measurements and optimizing their functionality for tension, compression, and cycling through to zero-force measurements.
A sophisticated electrical design integrates an AC drive with preloaded ball screws, enhancing displacement accuracy. The versatile NexygenPlus software seamlessly interfaces with Excel and Word, allowing automatic transfer of test results directly into the corporate templates.
The NexygenPlus software price includes all available modules, featuring an extensive library of pre-set test setups aligned with various international standards. For the LD Series, a tablet option is offered.
When paired with the LD Series tester, the tablet transforms the machine into a self-sufficient test unit, eliminating the need for a computer.
The intuitive interface and quick-test functionalities on the tablet enable easy test setup, selection of test runs, and swift export of results with just a few keystrokes. Results can be exported in both PDF and .CSV formats.
The LD Series testing machines are available in five bench-mounted models: LD5 (up to 5 kN/1,124 lbf), LD10 (up to 10 kN/2,248 lbf), LD30 (up to 30 kN/6,744 lbf), LD50 (up to 50 kN/11,240 lbf), and LD100 (up to 100 kN/22,480 lbf).
