DLF 1600 - Accurate Thermal Diffusivity Measurements

The Discovery Laser Flash DLF 1600 from TA Instruments is an advanced freestanding instrument for the measurements of thermal diffusivity and specific heat capacity of materials from room temperature to 1600 °C. The unique design includes a proprietary laser, detector, laser optics and furnace technologies. Together with the exclusive patented high purity alumina five-position sample carousel, ensures unparalleled measurement accuracy and sample throughput.

With the ability to be run in diverse atmospheric conditions, including air, inert gas, or under vacuum, the DLF 1600 is capable of characterizing a broad range of materials, including glasses, polymers, carbons, graphite, ceramics, composites, metals and alloys.

Real-time pulse mapping for excellent thermal diffusivity of thin and highly conductive materials

High sensitivity IR detector for optimum signal-to-noise ratio, providing maximum accuracy over the whole temperature range

Meets a variety of industry standard test techniques including ISO 13826, ISO 22007-Part4, ISO 18755, ASTM C714, ASTM E1461, ASTM E2585, BS ENV 1159-2, DIN 30905
