DualSense^® Technology increases worker safety, utilizing two sensors to detect the same gas.

The instrument is Guaranteed for Life™ with replaceable sensors and batteries that can extend the life of the instrument.

An optional AlarmAmp™ can increase audible alarms to 110 dB.

Acknowledgeable gas alerts allow users to notify a control center or other users that alerts have been seen.

DualSense^® Technology helps make the Tango^® TX1 gas detector the safest gas detector currently on the market, an accolade that has been confirmed by iNet^® data including more than 2 million bump tests and 100,000 unique sensors.

Long battery life allows the unit to operate in an ‘always-on’ mode for two years, and once the battery can no longer support the instrument it can simply be replaced for a further two years of operation.

Alarms sound at 100 dB at 10 cm, meaning that the Tango^® TX1 is double the volume of Industrial Scientific's GasBadge units and the loudest single gas instrument on the market. Additionally, the use of the optional AlarmAmp™ can increase the alarm volume by a further 10 dB, ideal for noisier environments.

Technologies

The DualSense^® Technology makes use of redundant sensors to ascertain the concentration of the target gas within the atmosphere, thus reducing any risk of total instrument failure. By using two sensors of the same type, it is possible to gain the most accurate gas reading.
